Like most Titus wines, this wine is more substantial than you would expect for the varietal. More full bodied, with more pronounced fruit than the typical cab franc. This drinks more like a cab blend than a cab franc. Dark fruit, some earthiness, flint, a touch of anise, and some jammy red fruit. Others have noted the jamminess and being a bit hot. I think this is fading off with some age, and has left a better balanced wine. Though I think there are a number of years left for it, and it could still settle down more with another year or two.
These definitely benefit from decanting, and need time to breathe.

A little jammy and sweet, yet pretty powerfull and balanced. I wouldn't have figured this was a Cab Franc as I detected no vegetal aspects in this wine. Quite good, but not great and not was I was expecting. Drink now.

Cabernet Time - Silver Oak & Friends (Wine Exchange. Orange, CA): Nice bouquet. The attack felt a bit jammy. Better mid palette and slightly vegetative finish with notes of green olives. Alcohol is noticeable.
