  Initial nose of forest floor with a deep robust ruby color. Medium bodied and very silky texture. This is a classy Beaune!! On the palate hints of candied cherries and ripe red fruits. As the wine opened scents of lavender (or was that mountain laurel blossom) wafted from the glass. Perfectly balanced with a medium finish. It reminded me of why I fell so in love with Burgundy in the first place!
