Surprise for this varietal. Starts with a darker color than normal. Like most Sauv Blanc, clean on the nose, with hints of butterscotch on the nose, along with lemon rind. Medium bodied, with a tang of acidity when initally tasted. Crisp granny smith apples on the palate. Nice finish, leaves you wanting a little more.

Wine Education Service - South Africa - Constantia (LSE): THe nose is like a toned down New Zealand sauvignon blanc, slightly mineral, grassy, cirtus and tropical fruit. High acidity, cleansing, refreshing, smooth mid palate, quite simple.
