Sort of smells like moist humid air with dark red berry and red plum skin. Palate is a bit chalky. A bit flatter than I thought it would be, but still good fruit, spice and decent tannin.

Unique sugar cookie nose. Not sweet, but yeasty, cinnamon, orange zest? Relatively straightforward. Nice acidity, some strawberry fruit and a bit of damp earth. Not much finish. Easy drinking - but not much stuffing left, I’d guess.

Cru Beaujolais can age too! Enjoyed this with just the right amount of chill on it. Could easily have gone another 5 years or more

Faded. Brown juice with no tannin and super dark, cooked, stewed fruit.
I’ve had the 04 recently and it was much better so I’m guessing this 07 hasn’t been stored correctly.

Dark cherry. Little hit if a cough syrup thing going on but in a good way. Plenty of life left in this.
