  • This was PnP and suffered for it. Needed more time. Very good but not as awesome as a recent 93pt btl in late January that received a 3hr slow-ox. No choice, I got home at 7 from fly fishing all day in the Driftless region of SE MN. Love this producer & vintage even so.

  • Opened tonight with some grilled quail. The wine was perfectly open and ready to go. Velvety smooth with lush fruit, floral nose and fresh acidity. There’s no reason to wait on this one.

  • Nearly a year since my previous bottle, I found this to be more balanced and instantly drinkable (PnP'd). Definitely growing into its drinking window, it was still more taught and favoring sharp red fruit over the dark fruit & luscious that the 2020 vintage delivered. But equally enjoyable now and went very well with sockeye salmon simply grilled. Will definitely buy more in that $25 range.

  • Bought this with some reward points at a local retailer where I have offsite storage. Haven't had this in a while and forgot how much I absolutely love their CdB! Like previous vintages I'm once again struck by how much this reminds me of village level Chambolle Musigny. The fruit purity is beyond reproach & the balance exquisite. Has that weightless red fruited mineral elegance of Chambolle. Very pretty and enticing. Slow-oxed in 2 Reidel Burgs & btl for 3hrs prior to dinner. 13% alc. Going back for more. Think I can source it locally for $25ish?

  • Took my first sip and thought, "This is good." Light purple color. Medium acidity, body, and light tannins. Scent of cherry and some floral notes. Tasted cherry. Smooth finish.
