Aussie Shiraz Wines at John's (John's): Light golden color. Nose is a bit flat at first, opening up more over the evening. Mineral predominates on the nose and palate. Good acidity. Fairly light style, no oak is apparent.

A golden yellow in the glass, with bold scents of poached pears, honey, minerals, and lemon mirangue pie...in the mouth the wine is full bodied, and unapologetic as it fills the mouth with flavors of lemon, apples, and caramel with a light lingering minearality. A nice wine...

Minneapolis Wine Club Aussie Shiraz (My House): A nice wine with apricots, floral, lemon and minerals. Medium finish and much better 2 hours after opening the bottle.
