Really good, fully mature CdR; vibrant floral nose; palate deep dark fruit with earthy/funky tones, slight pruney jam on the finish. drink up, don't wait much longer!

Great value. Cherries, leather, some undegrowth, pepper/spices, structure (mourvedre), absolutely not in decline despite 8 years of age, dense. Last bottle, should have bought more.

Inky black-purple. Flowers, coffee, licorice. This is fleshy and rich to taste with some borderline heat, but it has zest and good grip. There's zippy, intense black-minerally fruit, with a little English breakfast tea. With air, some liqueur notes develop on the nose while the tannins turn rough. Overall, satisfying in a grapey, straightforward, bold fashion. Not a wine built to last. Good. 87pts.

virtually identical tasting note to the one dated 6/6/2013. Really amazing value! I have been through quite a few bottles and they were all really beautiful. No bottle-variation. One of the best values in Southern Rhône. 91+

This is made from 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre. Medium ruby to almost purple color. Amazing nose of red cherries, kirsch, but also some dark fruits, sweet spices, minerality (rocks). Hits the palate with similar flavor profile, plus some dried fruits and a touch of smoke. Medium-full body, with quite some tannin (medium) and a low-medium acidity providing structure and some freshness as contrast to the opulent fruit. As the wine sits in the glass, the aromatic complexity increases. But I especially love the pure fruit. This will still have a few beautiful years ahead, but it's drinking great already. If you want an incredible value from the Southern Rhône, look no further...
