Tastes of Coffee and Smoke. Very enjoyable with some dark fruit on the back palate. Would serve well by againg past 2010. Ken Goosens: "Owned by Kendall-Jackson of California. Ripe and distinctive for its gamy, spicy character, a fleshy Shiraz with fine tannins wrapped around the generous berry and licorice flavors at the core. Finishes long. – Wine Spectator 90 points. Wine & Spirits 93 points. Noticeable acidity and tannin, with black cherry, blackberry, and blueberry. Finishes both dry and fruity."

color: extremely dark/opaque nose:Ripe dark fruit - blueberries and highly perfumed. A big highly extracted fruit bomb but with some nice structure to keep the balance in check. also picked up hints of coffee. nice example of a concentrated/extracted shiraz.

Scrumptious full bodied, beautiful Shiraz. Cellared well and still gorgeous after 18 years.

91-92?. This was pretty delicious. Very McLaren. Good fruit, but also some chocolate, coffee, smoke, etc. Very nice for the price.
