  • I did not expect anything off this bottle. Cork crumbled in hundreds of pieces and the wine needed to be filtered. Had significant amount of sediment anyway. Light red with heavy brickening. There are almost more brown colours which are dominating then red ones. The nose did not reveal a whole lot but there is definitively some blue fruit peeking through. On the palate, a big surprise, the wine is anything but tired but rather bounces back and forth between some blueberry and higher notes, almost citrusy elements. All subtle and in balance with the ever so scares tannins and a gentle heat sensation to remind you on the alcohol content. However at the end all worked really well and came across synchronized which made this a quiet pleasurable experience. That just shows you to never give up on a bottle.
