Drinks better than many just under $10 bottles, jammy fruit, light tannins & spice. No need to decant, just swirl in the glass a little. Basic bbq, burger, pizza wine. Need to get thru my remainders before year end for sure.

Sadly, the kind of syrah that gives California Syrah a bad name. Not a bad wine, but really just a table wine--and not a Northern Rhone inspired bottle as it might claim to be. Fruit forward, generic--enjoyable for what it is, or I would grade it lower. But basically a pizza and pasta drink, gussied up with a bit of oak and a nice backstory. Can't complain at a few bucks a bottle, but might as well leave off the varietal label.

A good weeknight wine, with my thoughts ranging between DFKCVINO and NOT647F's. Still plenty of life though. Through 2013.

Easy to drink, dark purple, dark berry jammy fruity & spice. Ready to go but time to drink up.

Probably a bit past it's prime, but still a nice sipper. Went reasonably well with lasagna. Given the discounted price, I would definitely repurchase.
