Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking throughout. Nose of ash, iodine, peet, leather and mixed berries. Flavors of tart berries, tangy strawberry and red raspberries. Bright acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Drink now.

Awesome wine. You are climbing an alpine peak picking high-altitude boysenberries. The air is crisp, fresh. Suddenly you come across some snow leopard scat- not fresh, but not dessicated either-. Startled, you drop your berries into the lichen and moss and alpine flowers, but, recovering, you eat them anyway.

Impressive showing. Very fresh. Lively acidity. Lots of violets. Hard to believe this wine was 20 years young. Looking forward to trying an 06 every 18 months for the next 20 years, if I've done my math properly!!!! Great showing and great sourcing by the guys at Crush
