  • New on shelf it seems, although is "old"...last note was 3 years ago! This blend of fun grapes - Moshofilero and Roditis. Is about 17 $ CAN @ La Gotta in Winnipeg. Fairly simple at this point, medium bodied, with nice hit of acid and sugar from fruit. Kind of wanders with flavour profile. Nose is muted sherry qualities. Palate as above with a little green apple, a little buttered blue cheese qualities perhaps as other commented on previously. This may have biased my senses...! Clearly nice quaffer for summer right out of fridge and would be well liked. Would appeal to wine geeks re varietals and region. Not overly exciting otherwise. I have had this flavour profile from a variety of grapes/producer from around the world.

  • Solid. A compact sphere of mineral, acidity, floral and fat. Will do very nicely this summer.

  • TASTED BLIND lemon, wwm nose: sweat oak, very floral, white and yellow flowers, butter dry, acid is med to med plus, tannon seems as if it is from lees as in battonage, body is med, alc est 13.5 actual 12,length is med plus, finish is of sauteed apples in fresh creamery butter pair with: blue cheese stuffed in belgium endive leaves, skate sauteed in brown buyyrt, seafood mousse with spinich, lighter savory dishes guesses? thought the grape chardonnay, yet it was not a CA style chard or a Burgundy chard, even from the south could have been old world style, new world country or vice versa in the end, pegged it for a chard from italy
