I think as per HCL-1. I tried this over a year ago - a little nicer now - but still has sharp acid/tannin such that I don't like as much as other more smooth like styles. Has dark fruit and some underlying vegetal component with some smoke. Interesting. Needs a little food and 30 mins to air out.

Color: medium to dark red. Taste: Very viscous; medium tannins; aromatic, spicy; dark fruit (blackberry); nice integrated acidity; a little wood in the end, but also integrated. Typical spicy carmenere, very fruit driven. Tannins, acidity and oak are integrated nicely. I enjoyed it. QPR is ok.

Deep dark fruit and some oak on nose. The palate is medium bodied with harsh tannins and some dark berry fruit. The finish is medium length and transitions to oak and some light green peppers - not a fan of the oak, although not bad. A little pricey, and prefered the Leyda during a little Carmenere tasting.
