Has filled in nicely since my last bottle. Showing well at the 2 hour mark. I believe this could use a few more years to develop further. Try again in 2015.

A (mostly) Burgundy Seminar with Pierre Rovani (Spiaggia, Chicago IL): nose: rather tight for a bit and slightly unyielding. As it starts to open, it reveals attractive tones of black cherries, dark spices, and some dark berry tones. Good medium depth works well on this providing a very interesting dark and mysterious profile of vosne
taste: excellent medium/high acidity with the dark profile still pervating. Well defined tones of black cherries, dark berries, along with bits of floral tones and some raspberry hiding underneath. very well balanced and attractive
overall: a very promising village wine. A lot more depth then I'm used to from a village wine with the acidity getting in the way a slight bit at this very young stage. It can definitely use 5-7 years to start coming around, but what is there right now is very interesting and this would definitely be a fun wine to track through the years

This was a better showing for this wine than in 2017. This wine did not have the longevity I hoped.

I waited too long. The fruit is beginning to fade.

Rich, deep, full of promise. Give several years to fill in.
