The Last Dance Magnum Dinner (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Magnum. I haven't tasted this since shortly after release, and tonight it was incredibly impressive. While this is unquestionably rich and ripe, the fruit remains bright and fresh, and crunchy textures provide even further textural support. Very good now.

Have not had an Aubert in awhile as stopped buying. This bottle was singing. Solid acidity, secondary flavors providing nice complexity and good length.

Found a bottle in my cellar last night I forgot I had. It was singing. Not over the hill at all.

Delicious. This bottle was not past it's prime. A well balanced, aged chardonnay with layers of flavor.

Rich spicy tropical nose. Some acid and lift on the palate. Better than the 07 Lauren, but needs to be drunk up.
