  Dark cherrry red. Rather plump and foursquare nose of malt, forest strawberry, chocolate, wood and cherries. On the palate, the acidity gives some freshness, but no elegance. It's also a bit alcoholic and bitter. The finish is slightly better. The wine is not too old, but just a tad too plump. Not really my thing.
