Just popped and poured this half bottle, very intense nose of honeycomb and dried tropical fruit, on the palate this is not a Auslese, still very young with the sweetness in the foreground, concentration, viskosity and mouthfeel would imagine a Beerenauslese(+), needs some more years, maybe a decade in the cellar to soften the concentrated sweet midpalate, ending very lush and long with some acid in the background, can be enjoyed now if you like this strong honeylike sweetness, I would recommend to wait at least another 5+ years, better a decade+, **(**-?)

Actually the last tasting of 2013: Intense nose of apricot, sugar, orange, pear compote and spices. Very intense and sweet palate, there is great carry to it, though the acid has backed off a little since the last time I tasted it. Very, very good.

Seriously enjoyed. Pleasant nose, but its the thickly smooth luscious mouth feel, combined with some good acidity that makes this work. Doesn't quite inspire me enough to stock up for the long haul, but very happy to have tasted it and wouldn't turn down a glass 10, 20, or 30 years from now.

Autumn Dee Vine Wines Pop Up Tasting (The Morris, San Francisco): Half bottle. Golden. Petrol nose. Spicy, sweet, and rich with good bolstering acidity. A dessert Auslese. I liked this for short term enjoyment.
