16 years after bottling, this wine still shows traces of its magical beginnings. Nice ruby red color. Plenty of fruit on the nose only now laced with notes of raisin and prune. Almost port like but without the heaviness. Storybook Mountain is known for their age worthy zinfandels. While enjoyable, this wine is at the outer limits.
Unless you are conducting an experiment on ageing wines, drink any of this you have remaining in your cellar.
