I didn't mark the vintage but probably around 07. This wine was funky with apricots, ballpoint ink and sweetness on the palate. This is blend of muscat and brachetto.

Outstanding wine for anytime, great pre-meal wine or for a summer day, this would be the favorite. Fruity, sweet (but not overly) intense and unique flavors

What a PERFECT summer evening alternative to lateharvest this or lateharvest that to go with dessert. This low-alcohol Muscat blend is beautiful to look at (LOVE the red hue) and quite tasty. Opened a bottle last night and one of my guests couldn't stop raving. We discovered this at Cyrus in Healdsburg (possibly the best meal we'd ever had!) and had to track this bottle down. We got lucky and found it in Costa Mesa at Hi Time for only about $16 or $17. Again, not the greatest bubbles I've ever tasted, but for the price, you can't go wrong!

Natasha's Birthday weekend; 6/11/2009-6/13/2009 (Cabin on Mt. Hood): Beautiful darker pink color. The nose on this is absolutely luscious, showing tremendous hibiscus and deep candied strawberry aromas. The aromas are so intense it almost smells artificial. Similar on the palate, with great candied strawberry. The only downside here is how massively sweet this is... more so than a Moscato d'Asti. Delicious, but hard to consume more than half a glass (but I still slugged down three).

(Elio Perrone Brachetto Moscato Bigarò, Piedmont, Italy) A five-alarm table fire has onlookers. With only one course left to smother it, we stop, drop flutes, and roll out this pink frizzante. A mistral of red-fruit intensity zephyrs away hot moods; women swoon, and even the gruffest of mine workers finds his feminine side. Any accompanying red-fruit-based dessert typically causes a nuclear tastebud explosion. After serving this semi-sweet wine, the only thing left burning is the bottom line. An interesting contrast to a Moscato. Pink in color. Light fizz. Nice fruits. Simple but satisfying.
