Deep purple color. Nose is quite penetrating, spices dominate. Palate is a bit tight and alcohol (13.5%) was definitely noticeable for everyone. Soft mouthfeel, medium finish. Not that exciting, but not that bad either... would't want to finish a whole bottle though.

While I did not have great expectations for this wine I was pleasantly surprised. Following a double decant and opened for an hour it had a good ruby colour with aromas of black fruits and spices. on the palate it was very smooth and balanced with flavours of blackcurrant spices and some meaty undertones. very light tannins and only a medium finish - it would go well with roast lamb. 13.5% alcohol 65% Grenache 35% Carignan.

Very primary on the nose. Very grapey. Light entry of sweet plum & red currant with a linear mid-palate & some drying tannins on the finish. This has a bit of a roasted element on the palate. Light & simple, but flavorful. Needs food to shine. OK.

Toujours aussi bon, surtout après un bordeaux plutôt fade. N'a rien à envier à ses 'grands frères (Coronas et Gran Coronas) même s'il est clairement une marche ou deux en deça de ces excellents vins. Un achat facile en tous temps.
