Nice wine had for Thanksgiving out of a mag. Has that grand cru finesse but lacking more. Good mouth feel. Light to medium body. Definitely got nice amount of spice with some cherry notes. Don’t think it gets better with age. Drink up.

Same btl as rocknroller. Something here did not trip my trigger tonight. Maybe the oak bleeding through on the nose? Benefit of the doubt score since others seem to enjoy it much more than I.

BurgFest at The Kenwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Medium dark red color. PNP, drank a glass over 2.5 hours. Well were on a roll now, coming after the '08 Noellat Ech, and not missing a beat. This is also really floral, almost to plumeria and fresh rose blossoms, red and dark cherry fruits mixed with light earthy aromas and a hints of citrus zest, but it is the perfume that resonates. The palate carries a medium plus weight, red and black cherry, soft tannins, rose hips, hints of citrus peel and mouth watering acidity.

Gevrey 2007 Grand Cru Dinner Preceding by Magical Meursault (Chicago, IL): Charming combination of ripe, fresh, and mature black and red cherry throughout, maybe barely showing Grand Cru density. Good now. Lots of similarity to the Giroud Charmes-Chambertin 2007 in this same flight.
