Golden amber color; oxidative notes but not distracting, with baked apple, caramel nuances, slight nutty notes, almond rocca comes to mind; soft, rounded, but long with good lift in the finish. Quite nice for a developed old Cali Chard. This went well with the onion tart. 91 if just a tad less oxidative. Compared with 1996 Mikulski Genevrieres. Renee France vs. CA tasting.
