Showed very nicely - even better than the last bottle. In really good shape at this stage and was a pleasing, new world, perfectly aged Cab Franc. Really enjoyed this.

Recent auction purchase. I blinded my wife on this and within a minute, she confidently guessed new world Cabernet Franc 2009 vintage. She said California when prodded for an origin. I think that says a lot about the honesty and quality of this wine (and of my wife's great palate!). This was quite an intense red, with acidity and Cab Franc fruit and herbaceousness (pyrazine?) that really delivered a punch to the palate. Not going to appeal to everyone as it's not what I'd call an "easy-drinker", but I really appreciate the wine making here. In great shape for its age and should hold for a few more years at least. If scoring, 88 - 90.

PnP. Clear, deep dark purple color. Nice CF nose and taste. After 15 minutes glass time, wine mellowed out and drank soft for a CF. Nice integration, good drinking window. A good example of that varietal. Nothing off. Good value.

big and juicy with a nice earthy element that lets you know you have a franc.

Nice, well made wine. Gentle fruit with a hint of camphor. Tannins and acid were present, but not in the front. Enjoyable with a steak.
