Very balanced vintage and good combination of grape varieties: not too much blackcurrant and some poop-factor from the cab franc. Silky strong tannins, just the way I like it. Drink soon, because if the acid levels go down, the oak-monster might make an appearance.

Deep ruby with medium to large rim and some purple hues. Thick leags. Clean nose of medium + intensity, aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, sweet spice, cedary notes and some leafiness. Also a dairy creamy scent. Nose is in no way one-dimensional but I would not call it complex or even interesting. Typical text-book Cabernet but the presence of the elements alone does not make necessarily for an impressive whole. In the mouth has medium+body, alcohol is somewhat biting, has cassis and cedar flavours and oak is evident, not in a vanilla sense but rather something like old wood. Has nice texture and long bitterish oaky finish and is enjoyable but are not 90 points from wine advocate and 5 stars from Decanter a bit too much?? On the other hand it is quite a good value at 7.5euros

this wine improves with time - found some left on day 3 - better than day 1 - drinkable for the price

Very fruitdriven, cassis dominating, hint of spices, low tannins.Reminds me almost more of juice than wine.Easy drinking and decent QPR though.
