Very dark. Roasted meat and black fruit nose. Substantial concentration of fruit, with sweetness and salinity making it very interesting. Tannin has softened and alcohol is a little apparent

Very good. Would have been better with a slightly longer decant. Went flat on Day 2. Sweet spot is about 60 min decant - very good for about 2 hours.

Much improved from 3 years ago. Wonderful from the first pour. Dark fruit, black olive, tar and nicely integrated French oak. Last bottle, too bad.

Dark cherry, tar and nicotine. Black heat and a shimmer of electricity. Intense warmth for a stormy winter evening. Near-perfection in a glass.

Needed time to open up, but great once it did. Recommend holding for a couple more years or decanting for at least 2 hours.
