A touch of oak on the palate gave this a fuller body with cassis and some chocolate. I think Issac is right that this could be confused with a lighter-bodied California cabernet.

A Saturday of Wines (Washington, DC): plush, showing more cab flavors and textures: currants, velvety tannins. this is like a california cabernet but with a bit more acid.
