Needs about 30-40 minutes in the decanter. Then the nose opens up and reveals a bouquet of flavours of leather, coffee, blackcurrant and plum. With time, cocoa and cinnamon are added. Super soft on the palate with high glycerine content. Firm texture. A wine that velvety coats the tongue even for non-connoisseurs. The finish is sweetish.

Weekly tasting group RWP #287: A random set of wines (@ DJ): Garnet red brown color. In the bouquet raisins and quite mature impressions. On the palate chocolate, soy, sweet spices like cinnamon, good acidity and raisins.
