Anne Gros officialy makes Echezeaux since 2007. This 2002 bought at the domaine, just 1 barrel made (300 bottles)! Light cherry red,the nose slightly spicy, earthy, minerally (wet stones) and flowery. And there is red fruit underneath.Ripe, very sweet, elegant. Black berries. Earthy. Not overly complex, but very charming. Nice texture. Drinking very well already.Lacks a bit of length perhaps, for a Grand Cru. Finishes a bit earthy, with soft and ripe tannins.
