Nose: coconut, cream, cinnamon, waffle, golden pear, red date, white flower, pineapple Notes: 13.5% ABV, a bottle kept in pristine condition. Medium to full palate with a good combination of creamy and tropical nose. A rush of pineapple came up after a while which added some freshness and fruits to the wine. Without the need for further introduction Marc Colin is probably my favorite white producer and this bottle showed excellent depth and harmony. This bottle feels warm and despite having tried the Batard from same vintage which is probably better but I feel this is one of the finest Corton Charlemagne I've had as it's rarely my preferred Grand Cru white. Drink: now+ Rating: 92

Fantastic wine. I was quite nervous this would be over the hill or suffer from premox. But still vibrant and at peak drinking. Yellow Diamond color. Hazelnut, buttered toast, and light toffee notes.. Creamy texture and long lasting.

Great start to Thanksgiving dinner. Very well balanced and clean with notes of citrus (a hint of grapefruit) and peach. Very flavorful and bright with medium body and a nice match with the food. Pleasantly surprised on the upside.

A lightweight Corton-Charlemagne. Some vanilla and white flowers in the aromas. Taste of vanilla, stones, lemon custard, and alcohol. Drink now. This doesn't have the weight to last and isn't worth cellaring.
