Broad, brambly, a little wild. Rough countryside wine with expansive fruit a little like gamay and a dark, deep, thick tar note. Bitter, burnt finish. Rubbery with mud and bitter espresso grounds. Interesting, rustic, strong. Not something I'd venture to drink often. I'd guess this is something to drink within 3-5 years, but I have no experience aging this grape. C+

not much fruit. hint of green bell pepper. like sucking on granite. recommended for those who enjoy light to medium bodied reds that express minerality more than fruit.

appears inky black, smell distinct cedar, cedar toast crunch cereal, fascinating nose, warm and toasty with hint of nutmeg, tiny bit of blood, taste juicy and ripe, bit of effervescent fizz that dissipates, alive feel, tons of vibrant flavor, tons of spark, mellows out into delicious meaty flavors

Iron, bing cherries laced with black pepper. Love the crisp spiciness of the p d'a.
