  This wine has matured nicely, plenty of smokey dark fruit and a mouth filling, clove like warming, but very pleasing taste, medium finish rounds it all off. Drank with BBQ burgers, but would go with any BBQ fair. All in all very nice after the extra year in the cellar.

  Nice aroma typical of a cabernet, the syrah took a bit of edge off. Still a little young for my taste and I will give it another 6 months to a year before trying another bottle. Drank with a traditional roast beef dinner and was a good choice, saved a couple of glasses to try in a day or two expecting it will have rounded out with some complexity by then.
