This 750ml bottle did not show well. There were some nice butterscotch, lemon and pear flavors that were marred by strong, woody, toasty oak. The oak was overpowering and detracted from the rest of the wine. I had 3 375s previously and did not notice the heavy oak.

Chards and Pinots (Shari's house, Mpls, MN): light-medium gold color. Nose shows very prominent toasty oak, light butter notes, apple, smoke. The palate tastes like burnt oak, smoke, and woody, citrus, smoke. The finish is oaky. Unfortunately, this was just way to oaky and was universally panned by the group. It was drinkable, but certainly not what I want in a chard. 85-86pts.

Tasting delicious. No signs of any oak. All zingy acidity and Myer lemon fruit and hint of peach. Great balance. With homemade cabbage soup. From 375. I'd guess the 750s still have some maturing to do.
