Young looking, nose and palate No bricking at the rim Required a couple hours to open up Nose of cassis, graphite and mineral Palate was on the austere side but had nice fruit to complement. Decent finish with some length. More Bordeaux than California. Would buy again

Very tasty - red fruits and plum**, could drink now or stand to age in bottle another 2-3 years. Good French oak balance, pairs well with ripe soft cheeses, red meat, red pasta sauce.

89+. Should develop nicely over the next couple of years; great QPR. Very complex nose - hard to describe: some cedar, some oak & lots of thick fruit. Full bodied with dense fruit, but smooth and integrated. Dry - but more fruity than earthy. Medium finish. Drank well with peppercorn salami; acidity will complement grilled beef (from burgers to steak); not enough presence to stand up to lamb or gamier meat.

Concentrated, just short of jammy, but retains structure
