Deep golden, clear. Sone white flowers and nuts on the nose, fairly subdued. Rich and complex in the mouth. Hazlenuts, marzipan, lemon, honey, something floral. Maybe slightly oxidative/sherried about it. Fair length, good acidity. Very interesting and slightly challenging wine, must explore further such wines.

Anita: W/J&L; interesting characterful nose of dry brush, almonds, floral notes, and wet sock; med. round body, hint of creme brulee according to Jeff in the finish; a hint of a bitter note to me, but also crmee brulee (the “brulee” part?); very nice as apperitif, but maybe better with orange chicken or pork?

Winery: Int. nose, hint of butter, cake, lite sweet sensation; some spice, fat mth, dry wheat flavors. Interesting, good character, long fin. Best Crozes H. White I’ve had. Yummy!

Honeyed, mediterranean herbs, Turkish delight, hint of nut. Good balance and stuffing, good length.
