An absolutely delightful nose of lemon, lime and pineapple. It's the best part of the wine. Very soft, could use some acidity, but the flavors are nicely balanced and full. Real good fruit. A little more acidity, and it would be top notch.

(Dr. Konstantin Frank Riesling Semi-Dry Finger Lakes) Classic and familiar, Dr. Konstantin Frank 2008 Semi-Dry Riesling ($15) offers aromas of Golden Delicious apple, golden raisin and peach. Off-dry, the palate is ripe with apple, peach and citrus flavors, with a subtle almond note. The acidity is fresh and citrusy but not electric -- balancing the the RS, but not quite reaching that tense, nervy level. A long, citrusy finish shows light sweetness, but isn't cloying.

Good, sweet. but not too sweet. Bizarre / unique in a good way.

Ripe green apple, grapefruit and lime. Off dry. Slightly tart on the finish
