  • Cellared since release, I popped the cork on this one after my final bottle of Deboeuf's Moulin-à-Vent Prestige turned out be completely corked. This was not. Medium intensity to the ruby hue, darker than expected for a Fleurie. Red fruits on the nose with just a touch of forest floor and minerals. Medium body. Really nice on the palate, with strawberry jam, fresh raspberry, and a touch of the same minerality found on the nose. This one really aged nicely, the Gamay profile mellowing and turning into a more complete wine. Can't imagine that these '03's will improve much further, drink now.

  • Purchased a blow out from Westside. This was awful, raisin nose, dried sweet fruit in the mouth, not enjoyable, and not what I expected.
