Darker than most chards ... darker straw color. A melange on the nose and palate ... kinda hard to pick out what I smelled and tasted, but it wasn't unpleasant, just indistinguishable. It went OK with the halibut with lime, cilantro and garlic butter. If halibut weren't so overpriced right now, it would have been better. Go with a Sauv Blanc with this recipe.

At restaurant for dinner, served too cold at first, just crisp and mineral, slightly floral and oak notes emerging as it warmed up, round and balanced on the palate over time. Very nice.

Watery, nondescript wine that starts to reveal some oak, and nothing else, when it's allowed to approach room temperature. I paid $12 for this bottle, and I consider it quite overpriced.

Walker Trade Show (Providence): 9/25/09: Fresh and clean. Lots of bright fruit. Still has some chard flavors, but it's so vibrant. Very good for the price. 86-87
9/14/09: Big and rich without being over the top. Lots of tropical fruit flavors. This is really tasty stuff for the price. 87+

Very nice value. Little oak, nice acid.
