2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal): Floral notes and some herbs on the nose. Dark purple in color. Well-integrated dark fruit on the entry, giving way to well-balanced tannins on the mid-palate. The quality of the Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional (50/50) makes this wine a much for floral Vintage Port. Very long, warm finish.

Lukter og smaker kirsebærlikør, tørket frukt som dadler og fiken, plommesyltetøy, søte moreller, tjære, tobakk, mørk sjokolade, anis, nellik, rosiner, bitre grønne urter og snev av krydderblanding fra midtøsten. God mørk frukt, medium syre og lite tannin. Litt skjemmende alkohol på lukt og smak. Utvikler seg positivt i glasset.

Mørk fiolett/lilla i glasset. Lukt av rosiner, svisker og mørke bær. Smak av rosin, mørke bær og ett snev av anis. Veldig fruktig med myke men tilstedeværende tanniner.
Får en følelse av att vinen er litt "lett", men har samtidig skikkelig konsentrasjon. Har aldri før smakt en VP med så velintegrert alkohol.
Dette er den beste vinen jeg har drukket så langt i år.
