A hotter vintage than usual so picked earlier yet still 12.7 ABV rather than 11 or less. Mid golden colour, with the usual Belford signature overlain by honey, caramel and toast. The higher alcohol shows in the warmth of the finish, which is also shorter than it should be. An old school Elliot style Belford, with a sweet/sour yet very ripe expression, picked early but at higher ripeness level so lacking some balance 17. A pasta or roast chicken Semillon. Day 2 more balanced as the fruit has grown. Some banana, and so old school, Lindeman HR WB in style 17.75.

under screw cap. Typical single vineyard Tyrrell's Sem. Golden hue. Lovely fully developed nose. Light kero and lime. full fruit driven aged semillon with long lovely finish. Might improve a bit, but its drinking beautifully now. No rush. Enjoy over next 3-5 years

Classic aged Hunter Semillon nose - slight toast; there's a touch of honey, white nectarine and toast on the palate, a fine and persistent acid spine, good length and balance. Wonderful. (W)

Delicate floral notes on the nose . Palate has almonds and a great deal of acidic energy. Supple and giving. Best to drink now.
