Dark, clear garnet color, still quite clear. Spiced sweet mulberries and blackberries with a hint of raspberries on the nose. Tart lemon (bizarre on a red) with light red berries and red plum. Seriously delicious.

Beautiful nose of leather and sandalwood. Unfortunately the nose was the best part. Some spice and pepper on the pallet but no noticable fruit. Nice mouthfeel but rather short finish. definitely on the downside so if you have any I would suggest drinking sooner rather than later. Noticable decline from my last bottle a couple of years ago. 89-90

After 15 years, I feel like this has finally matured. Smooth, old-fashioned Napa cab, not a fruit-driven beast. Some oak, but well-integrated, with tannins that seems to have dissolved into the wine. On the fruit side, cassis, maybe some blackberry. Subtle sandalwood. No notable heat. On the second night, a bit of cough syrup showed up, but not unpleasantly. So glad I waited on this bottle, but not so glad it's my last one.

Seems mature, though not much going on here. Lots of oak. It smells like a cabernet. Obvious alcohol. At least the texture is nice.

Opaque dark red, full bodied, rich and smooth fruit, subtle tannins. This wine has aged very well. No deterioration at this point.
