Thick, voluptuous body with unctuous, waxy texture. Gives the impression of sweet, ripe apple and peaches without actually sweet. Honey, roasted nuts, marzipan and toast. Oak is present but fully integrated into the whole, forming a layer of creaminess. Like putting whipped cream on a warm apple pie. Finish is very long with honey, nuts, and just a hint of something herbal.. fennel maybe. Acidity is medium low, but I'm not missing it one bit when I'm being given so much to contemplate and play with. Paired magnificently with seared scallops with saffron risotto and roasted root vegetables. And of course, with aged sharp cheddar.
Astonishing complexity, power and elegance. This is drinking at peak right now. One of the greatest white wines I've ever had.

Appearance: White, Golden Nose: Stone fruits, such as peach and orange, honeysuckle and vanilla from the nice aging in the oak. Palate: Dry, medium acidity, high alcohol (14.0%), high body, layers of stone fruits and cloves in the after-taste. Excellent and unforgettable paired with cod!

Nice structure, creamy and round. Nice and long aftertaste. Oxidation is starting.

Starting to weaken at the seems. Not likely to keep its shape for too long. Still a very well made wine but too heavy for me.
