Mostly Baroli gathering at Bluegrass (Bluegrass restaurant, Baltimore): Hoping the 92 Leflaive chevalier like experience but this seems a bit more tropical. Perhaps a travel shock but not showing well. Ripe tropical fruit, apricot and burnt sugar which I really don’t care for in my Burgundy and a hint of anise. Excellent concentration but a bit too fat and little energy. As expected with air, it opened up a bit. I would recommend a couple hours of decanting and preferably served at home, a bit fragile. The 92 is a tricky vintage.
