  What a lovely wine and a delightful surprise after having kept this wine long after its initial expected drink date. Attractive garnet colour with orange on rim. Nose is aromatic with hints of spice, perhaps cinnamon. Palate was initially quite closed but opened up into an elegant old wine with soft dark mature red fruit and spicy notes. When we purchased this wine at the vineyard, many years ago, we were promised the wine could last 20 years. It has indeed. The wine is at the end of its drinking window, but well worth the wait.
