PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs; bottle from secondary market
-light ruby mild bricking
-faint berry-infused earth, hint of black pepper
-med acidity, lighter weight, faint berry overtones on simple earthy mid-palate bitter, med/med+ chalky somewhat dried out tannins dominate
-nimble but rustic, while not displaying overtly mature nose or palate the tannins suggest this may be on decline

Deep garnet color. Notes of raspberry and red fruit on the nose.
Medium strong tannins with a medium long finish. A little cherry, stronger red fruit, hints of raspberry.
Solid village level; much better day 2. Give this one some time.

Earthy, cherry skin, fruit pit bitterness, loam. This comes across as charmless and the lack of fruit just emphasizes the rough astringency.
