This is a great sparkling wine from Bourgogne. You can feel the time spent on lees and the bottle ageing with complex aromas of wood, bread and tea leaves. This is not the "fresh" sparkling type, this is more on the savoury side, it caresses your mouth smoothly and is balanced by a nice acidity. The aftertaste is long and nice.
The only point is the price: would you pay 8,000 yen (75 dollars or 55 euros) for a Cremant de Bourgogne, even an high level one? Many of us will probably use their money for a Champagne instead.

Served blind in a tasting with a lot of high-quality Champagnes. Some of its aromas did stand out as "perhaps not Champagne", but it did not strike me as a pure Pinot Noir/blanc de noirs.

Lieux-Dits Champagnes from Jacquesson vs Selosse (Stockholm): Golden yellow colour. Pleasant nose of oranges, fruity impression, slightly flowery. Fruity on the palate, clear minerality, high acidity. Rather young.
