Mid to full straw. Mineral, saline nose with a touch of crystalline honey. Similar on attack. Weightier and fuller than the Vaulorent as one would expect. More presence. Lots of interest here, clear GC weight and texture, just lacks some persistence and drive on the finish for top flight. Very good though, and ready. ****

Mid straw. An initial sense of honey on the nose before it opens to a more classical taut minerality and salinity. Good weight on the attack. Saline, oyster shell, iodine with the slightest hint of honey. Classic maturing GC Chablis, and really very good. Lots of wine here. ****

Work Wine Tasting - Chablis & Claret (Home): An extra layer of density and also padding around the taut mineral core. Also, a slightly crystalline texture on the finish. Lots here, this is excellent and has really evolved well and gained complexity since first tasted in 2011. Really super. ****1/2

Chablisienne 2008s - brief impressions (Chablisienne, Chablis): Obviously more mineral and intense, extra depth. Taut despite the weight. ****
