Color: Light gold Nose: Oak, butter, hint of mango Taste: Plenty of oak, butter and vanilla. A hint of peach can peak through mid-palate. Finish: More vanilla and oak. Decent California chard, but nothing to write home about. I generally prefer oak to be a bit more subtle in chardonnay - still, this isn't as over-the-top as some.

Average hue, a little pale for Cali chard. Light, but attractive, nose with butter, hazelnut, lychee, and sweet pear. Wheat toast, apricot, pear, almonds, and a little butter round out the palate. Finish is not too memorable and slightly tight acidity. Although I really liked this, it deserves only a bronze medal. (3+11+15+6) = 85

Simple and vibrant with fresh aromas. Not the typical "over oaked" chardonnay. Sadly, too expensive in Quebec to be a bargain (23$).
