  • Popped and poured. Mostly red fruit aromas with good spice, in a charming Vosne-like manner. A touch of earth to start, which then expanded with more time in glass. Similar on palate, just slightly less spice. Best when open one hour, when it picked up some depth, weight and nuance. The last glass, at three hours, started showing some stewy character.

  • a bit of barnyard, flowers and cherry pie on the nose, mature and complete across the palate, cranberries, ripe plum and earthy flavors, racy acid, in a beautiful place right now, there is nothing to dislike about this, all the elements are present, balanced and mouthwatering, perfect with a creamy mushroom gravy and porkchops

  • Sweaty, pinot nose, confirmed on palate, but very nice gentle, sweetish, mature, gamey pinot fruit which actually became more vibrant in the glass
