Fresh nose, full of tropical and citrus fruits and a touch of green, on the palate is fleshy and racy and long, but there's a hint on the very finish that premox is coming soon.

Best of chardonnay challenge (My home): This has style and flesh on the body while still being lean and lemony. some of the tropical notes have receded. Very good and clean and simple (in a good way). Has not really gained in complexity.

Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant Burgundy Tasting (Ferry Plaza, San Francisco): not as interesting as the earlier whites, flavors more muted, with a strange bitter note on teh finish. very light color, acidity was a bit to tart, lemon, citrus, banana peel, with notes of some kind of medicinal taste.

Domaine de L'arlot with Olivier L.: According to the winemaker, this has some pinot gris in it which explains some of the more tropical fruit aromatics. I actually think there is quite a bit of weight in the middle and get a mixture of white flowers and tangerine. good acidic structure and nice finish. I liked this better than the 2006.

(Domaine de L'Arlot Nuits St. Georges Cuvée La Gerbotte) Bright light yellow color; pineapple, lemon, green herb nose; tasty, ripe pineapple, apple, ripe citrus, tart apple palate with good acidity and a touch of green herb; medium finish (100% whole cluster)
