dark ruby color, deep scents of blackberries and undergrowth, round and balanced palate with medium finish. A very powerful, earthy Sangiovese. True testimony of it's terroir.

At Wijn Antiq AMS (blind tasting, theme Tuscany). Slightly corked but possible to appreciate. Dark colour. Concentrated, dried currants and preserved fruits, powerful finish with tannins. In the nose similar fruits and some pepper (Syrah).

Dark red with tons of sediment both in and on my glass. coffee, dark fruit, earth and a little bit of pepper. Rich dark fruit flavours and a long dry tannic finish. Excellent and a wine with a great future.

Bill's Monthly Lunch - September 2010 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – the darkest wine yet. Medium to deep red but showing some age with a large brownish rim. Developed nose of charred red fruits and worn leather. Well balanced oak treatment and more cherries and tobacco on the palate. Medium bodied, pleasant powdery tannins with medium to high acidity. Drink or hold. Excellent.

I think it is overdone. Still good but lost a step. Drink it now
